Hello, I'm Graeme (aka grohs), a multidisciplinary artist, illustrator, graphic designer, art director, DJ and sound artist whose work focuses on everything and nothing in particular.
I’ve produced artwork for cassette label Tapeworm, portraits for FACTmag and Movember and several contributions to the Secret 7" exhibition. I've worked as Head of Creative and Art Director producing best practice creative (across design, illustration, animation, video etc.) for many leading global brands including Sony, Honda, L'Oreal and Branston on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and more.
As a DJ I’ve created mixes and curated for events dedicated to artists such as Raymond Scott, Miles Davis and Slavoj Zizek, and linked this to my artwork by designing posters/illustrations for music events including mind-bending metal night Cosmic Carnage. Live performances include site-and-time-specific experiences using field recordings, radio and found sound. Most recently I’ve developed an ongoing immersive project combining my love of art and sound called Soundtraits.
I was born in Scotland and attended the University of Strathclyde, receiving a Bachelor's degree in Product Design.
I live in South London. I'm also this guy, ex-F&S, DJ and maker of sounds.
If you have any questions, would like to work with me or just want to say hello, feel free to give me a shout.
Cheers!
